Lights, camera, action! The Youth Team at Hackney CVS has produced an informative video documenting the challenges faced by young people, aged 16-20.

Red Flags, the first in a series of informative videos, outlines the challenges in
forming, maintaining and ending relationships.

It discusses what ‘red flags’ are, how to identify them and what young people can do about them.

The video ends by signposting young people to services in Hackney that provide support.

Themes for this project emerged from action research carried out by the Youth Team as part of the Improving Outcomes for Black Children and Young People Programme.

Nine service providers were interviewed and over 40 young people attended workshops and focus groups in Hackney.

The Youth Team drew on their own experiences, skills and the art of collaboration to produce the series of videos.
