Sign the 5-point pledge

The theme of this year’s IWD is Accelerate Action. Individuals and organisations who attended last year’s event contributed their ideas on the change they want to see. These were distilled into a 5-point pledge.

The 5-point pledge:

1. For women to be appreciated, spoken to and respected just the same as male counterparts.
2. To empower the future generation of women to speak out.
3. Support women in having a stronger voice by actively listening.
4. To be open to women-centred system change, influenced by women.
5. To speak out when you see injustice.

We would like organisations and community groups to sign up and commit to the pledge to be an Ally in the Workplace.

At this year’s event, we look forward to discussing how Hackney CVS can support you in your work towards the pledge, and Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion more broadly.
