Hackney Giving is a local giving scheme bringing together donations from residents and businesses in order to support grassroots charities and voluntary organisations in their work with the borough’s diverse communities.

Hackney Giving is a local giving scheme. It brings together donors who care about the borough’s diverse communities: residents, businesses and the statutory sector all use Hackney Giving to channel their funds to grassroots community groups that would be beyond their reach individually.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Voluntary and Community Sector organisations in Hackney have worked really hard to keep people safe, make sure they had the supplies they needed and to help people connect with loved ones they couldn’t visit.
