What is the Hackney Faith Community Network?

The Hackney Faith Community Network was established in 2016 to celebrate the contribution of the faith community in Hackney, bring their collective efforts together and identify areas of future focus.

What does the Hackney Faith Community Network do?

Research
Since then we have undertaken research to understand more about faith communities in Hackney and their needs – the results can be found here.

Seminars
We have also organised a series of seminars and training sessions for faith leaders on topics like preventing poverty, supporting vulnerable residents, tackling gun, and knife crime and safeguarding.

Surveys
We are also collecting information on the activities faith organisations provide to support the local community so we can promote the good work faith organisations do and ensure there is communication between service providers.

If you would like to share information about the services your organisation provides, please complete the survey here.
