Parents Know How Session

Parents and advocates are invited to outline any identified barriers to children and young people’s progress and also share what is working well.

Parents will have the opportunity to:

a) feedback on matters of concern;
b) Identify common themes that may be discouraging trust;
c) consult on their advocacy and practical support needs.

The session will focus on:

• understanding special needs,
• safeguarding matters, exclusion,
• understanding the new contextual safeguarding and other approaches.

This session is led by VCS representatives.
