As part of our Parents Know How approach, we aim to engage and empower parents to shape the content of programmes and initiatives created to benefit parents. Your insight is valued into how community and well‐being champions can be instrumental in a cultural shift in African and African Caribbean communities towards healthier and more integrated living.
Front-line community organisations active in Parent Engagement and outcomes for African heritage Young men are particularly encouraged to nominate potential participants (parents, volunteers and staff with the qualities to empower and educate parents.
Summary of steps:
Step 1- Attend our taster session, enrol & tweak the content, create a course which responds to today’s climate.
Step 2 – Enrol onto the 4 day NVR Parent Wellbeing Champions course on the 12th, 13th, 22nd and 23rd of November 2018 (9:45am – 4:45pm)
