Pepsi Monderoy-James joined Hackney CVS in April 2026 as Director of Communities, Health and Partnerships, bringing extensive experience across the voluntary sector mental health services.

A counsellor by training, she has led work in crisis intervention, traumatic grief and loss. As a Trinidadian practitioner who migrated to the UK five years ago, Pepsi brings a strong commitment to culturally grounded, community-led approaches to mental health.

Her perspective is shaped by both her professional experience and her connection to the communities she serves.

In her role, she leads on strengthening partnerships across the voluntary, community and statutory sectors, working to address health inequalities and support more joined-up, community-led approaches to care.

Outside of work, Pepsi enjoys running and weightlifting, and values the time she spends with her two energetic children, who keep her grounded and on her toes.
