Hackney CVS has two new trustees

This autumn, we have welcomed two new trustees who add to the rich mix of experience and expertise on our board.

Arun Aggarwal is a Hackney resident and feels deeply connected to the borough’s strong sense of community. He brings expertise in financial oversight, risk management and strategic planning, and currently works in Corporate Partnerships at Lloyd’s Banking Group. He brings governance experience, having served as Chair of Governors of his former secondary school and as a trustee of a Students’ Union.

Arun said: “I’m delighted to serve as a Hackney CVS trustee, supporting meaningful community impact in a vibrant borough. I look forward to working with fellow trustees, the management team and stakeholders to help local charities and community groups build sustainable, financially viable solutions to long-term challenges faced by residents in Hackney and the City of London.”

Jenny Field has lived in Hackney for nearly 40 years and worked in the voluntary and community sector throughout her career. Now that she is retired, she is keen to focus more on local issues. Jenny brings knowledge and expertise of the sector from a range of roles, including Deputy Director at The City Bridge Foundation and trustee of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.

Jenny said: “I believe passionately that a thriving VCS is essential in building thriving, vibrant and sustainable communities. I am delighted to have become a trustee of Hackney CVS and I am looking forward to playing my part in its vital work supporting the VCS in the City and Hackney.”

To all our trustees, past, present and new, thank you for your dedication and support, ensuring Hackney CVS continues to deliver real impact.
