Hackney Giving Cost of Living programme is open for applications

The cost of living continues to cause problems for many people locally. Hackney Giving is inviting applications from not-for-profit groups working to support people in Hackney or the City of London with the cost of living this winter.

Funding for this programme has come several sources, including the Department for Work and Pensions’ Household Support Fund via Hackney Council. Some funding has also been received from individual donors and local businesses.

Programme overview
Grants of £5,000 will be awarded for work towards reducing the impact of the rising cost of living on people living in Hackney or the City of London. A total of £165,000 is available for distribution.
