Hackney CVS recently held a well-attended Meet the Funders event.

The event brought together key London-based funders with the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Hackney and the City of London.

47 participants attended from a range of voluntary and community sector organisations. Makbule Gunes, VCS Development Manager at Hackney CVS, said: “It was great to see so many local organisations attending the Meet the Funders event. It was a great opportunity for these organisations to learn about potential funding opportunities and to speak with grant officers and representatives from different funding bodies.”

Attendees had the chance to:

• Learn about the latest funding opportunities.
• Speak directly with key funders.
• Ask questions and understand the funding application processes.
• Meet other voluntary and community organisations.
