Join the physical activity workshop and help review Hackney’s approach to physical activity in Hackney.
Hackney’s Public Health team are currently reviewing their approach to supporting local people to be more active in their daily lives.
They hope to complete the review by the end of November. They will be speaking to residents, local physical activity providers, and those who work in the voluntary and community sector to inform future plans.
They would like to invite you to participate in an online stakeholder workshop during October or November. During these workshops, they will explain what they currently know about physical activity in Hackney.
They would like to understand more about what gets in the way of people being more active in Hackney and what would help people overcome these barriers.
They have already gathered a lot of insight around physical activity in Hackney, through the Kings Park Moving Together project, the Ageing Well Strategy, Growing Up in Hackney work, and the recent Health and Wellbeing Strategy Engagement Report.
They hope to build on this existing knowledge during this next phase of the review.
The workshops will take place on:
26 October 3pm to 5.30pm
3 November 9.30am to 12pm.
