This intensive workshop aims to provide you with in-depth knowledge on how to be GDPR compliant by May 2018. This includes how it should be applied in practice and the importance for data controllers and data processors holding personal information to ensure that correct frameworks and systems are in place in order to comply.
This is for anyone who has an overall responsibility for data protection within the organisation ideally Data Protection Officers and/or Data Protection leads. It is also recommended for senior staff members and/or decision makers who are tasked with ensuring GDPR compliance by 25 May 2018.
This workshop will be run by Mohammed Mansour, GDPR practitioner with over 10 years’ experience of corporate data management and designing information security management systems for International NGOs and charities in the UK.

This session if for micro, small to medium community and voluntary groups interested in working with volunteers – for one off events, projects or longer ongoing volunteer placements. This session is an overview covering all the Best Practice essentials, but will be tailored towards participants’ previous engagement and experience with volunteers (via pre-course survey).

This course will provide you with the information, tools, and techniques needed to support a young person who might be experiencing mental and emotional distress. Within each section, there is a clear focus on the issues faced by young people, including bullying/cyber-bullying and substance misuse. The course also teaches the importance of promoting well-being and protective factors. At the end of the course, you will also receive a certificate confirming you are a trained Youth Mental Health First Aider.
