Frank Owuasu

It is with sadness that we share news of the passing of Francis Owuasu, fondly known as Frank.

Frank was an active member of the voluntary and community sector and he was co-founder of the African Community School, a supplementary school for all nations. He was an active member of the supplementary school development in Hackney and across London.

A full-time secondary school teacher and recent Chair of the Community Accountancy Project, Frank quietly fought a long-term health condition for several years. He passed peacefully on 23 October 2018. May he rest in peace.

Celebration of Life Service 

The funeral service will be held on Thursday 15th November 2018.

The theme is purple and white. The Church service will be held at St Luke’s Church, 2 Homerton Terrace, Hackney, E9 6RT Doors open at 11.30am for 12pm service.

The Internment will take place at Manor Park Cemetery, Sebert Road, Forest Gate ,
E7 0NP at 2pm, followed by the reception between 4pm and 8pm.
