The Young Black Men programme aims to strengthen the youth leadership model with young black people in Hackney. It also seeks to support the work of the YBM Community Accountability Board and develop parents’ involvement.

It supports the development, skills and capacity of young leaders to take advantage of these foundations, build the agency model and formalise the concept of the accountability board.

The project uses a training and learning cycle and measures impact by tracking in self-esteem, number of courses completed, certificates and accreditations achieved.
