The Neighbourhoods programme has four Neighbourhood Facilitators who work across the eight Neighbourhood Forums.

The seconded facilitators, pictured below, from left to right, are:

• Sarrah Fofanah from the Huddleston Centre (Clissold Park and Hackney Downs).
• Fionnoula Keane-Conley from Manor House Development Trust (Woodberry Wetlands and Springfield Park).
• Polly Mann from Wick Award (Well Street Common and Hackney Marshes).

The facilitators work closely with our partners Healthwatch Hackney and Volunteer Centre Hackney to deliver the forums. Each forum has NHS and local authority representatives coming together with residents and VCS organisations to agree on health and care priorities, address health inequalities and improve local services – with a particular focus on prevention.

Increasing residents and service user participation

Facilitators hope to increase the number of residents and service users attending Neighbourhood Forums. They have asked local VCS organisations to encourage residents to attend and also to bring service users to these forums.
