The Hackney Youth Sports Fund is awarded to 9- 23 years olds to aid their progression and support their sporting potential. Open to those who live or go to school in Hackney. Funding can be requested for equipment, travel, accommodation, competition fees, specialist coaching/support fees and other similar expenditure. Hackney Council, Community Grants: A Place for Everyone – Hackney VCS grants programme 2019/20. This year voluntary and community sector organisations can apply for 1 year main grants for funding from £5,000 up to £30,000.

The following grants are available through the 2019/20 grants programme:

  • Main grants of between £5,000 and £30,000 for 1 year projects which contribute to
    the programme’s priorities and equality objective. Funding for Holiday Play schemes
    should be made through the main grant.
  • Small grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 for projects which contribute to the programme’s priorities and equality objective. There are two rounds of small grants during the year.
  • Community Chest Grants are available for local groups to deliver short term or oneoff
    activities. Organisations can apply for up to £1000 to deliver projects which contribute to the Hackney Equality Objective ‘To foster good relations by building a strong sense of community, neighbourliness and pride’.

Hackney Council Main Grants
Voluntary and community sector organisations are once again being invited to apply for one or two year main grant funding for grants that will run from April 2020 until March 2021 or 2022.

Applications can be made for grants between £5,000 – £30,000 for a 1 year grant or up to £60,000 for a 2 year grant. Deadline; 16 September 2019. Read more
