The Welcome to City and Hackney Neighbourhoods online event was held on Wednesday 23 March.

The event was for voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations based in City and Hackney that want to find out more about Neighbourhoods and how the new Neighbourhood Community Forums (previously Neighbourhood Conversations) fit within wider work underway in Neighbourhoods.

During the event our guest speakers explained the changes Neighbourhoods working will bring in health and care and what this means for voluntary and community sector organisations based or offering services in Neighbourhoods.

Healthwatch Hackney and members of Neighbourhoods Resident Involvement Group gave a resident perspective on upcoming changes and work underway.

We also heard from the Well Street Common Neighbourhood Wellbeing Partnership – the first Neighbourhood Community Forum – who shared what’s been achieved and what they think the future potential of Neighbourhoods is.
