Improving the health of rough sleepers
The Health and Social Care Secretary has announced that £1.9 million will be given to councils by Public Health England to help improve the health of rough sleepers. The funding will be awarded to projects that improve access to health services and continuity of care for people with mental ill-health and substance misuse problems who are sleeping rough, or at risk of returning to rough sleeping. This new public engagement funding scheme is part of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s work to tackle misconceptions around dementia.

Masonic Charitable Foundation – Early Years Opportunities Grants

Greener City Fund Community Tree Planting Grants
The Mayor of London is awarding grants of £5,000 – £50,000 for local communities to plant more trees in London. Grants will support tree planting in areas where there is currently little tree cover or where trees can help address issues like air pollution. Deadline: 24 June. Read more


London Catalyst – Partners for Health 
Grants of max. £10,000 are available for registered charities in London which are working with an expert health agency to improve the health and wellbeing of people with long-term health conditions and/or disabilities. Deadline: 23 May.Read more

This year voluntary and community sector organisations can apply for small grants between £1,000 and £5,000 for projects that contribute to one or both of two priorities:
