DESCRIPTION:MHFA Mental Health Aware- Training\nThis introductory training course will teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. You will learn how to listen\, reassure and respond\, even in a crisis.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHalf Day – Mental Health Aware – Book here \nThis course raises awareness of mental health. It covers: \n• What mental health is and how to challenge stigma\n• A knowledge of common mental health issues\n• An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing\n• Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue \nThis is an online course. Learning will take place through live training sessions\, films and self-learning activities \nFollowing the course\, once it is safe to do so everyone who completes the course will get posted:\n• A certificate of attendance to say you are Mental Health Aware\n• A manual to refer to whenever you need it\n• A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health \n*Please note the date for this training could be subject to change or cancelled if we do not have enough people registered for the session.
