SUMMARY:Meet the Funders
DESCRIPTION:We will be joined by London Community Foundation and Trust for London for an interactive session on their funding priorities and support available for voluntary and community groups.\n\nThe London Community Foundation supports community-based organisations focused on helping disadvantaged London. They specialise in finding and funding small organisations who are just starting out or who don’t attract mass public support. LCF stands shoulder to shoulder with the groups they support and base their decisions on the merit of ideas and the talents behind them. \nTrust for London is an independent charitable foundation. They aim to tackle poverty and inequality in London and do this by: funding voluntary and charity groups; funding independent research; providing knowledge and expertise on London’s social issues to policymakers and journalists. They have seven funding programmes for 2018-2022\, details of which can be found in the funding guidelines. \nDate: 23rd May 2018 Time: 10.30am- 12.00pm Venue: Adiaha Antigha Centre\, 24-30 Dalston Lane\, E8 3AZ\nFor further information and to book click here.
