DESCRIPTION:Many organisations have requested guidelines so that they can safely deliver services to children and young people in parks\, open spaces\, youth and community setting. \nThere is a need for clarity about how to keep service users and the workforce safe. \nOrganisations need to assess risk and make reasonable adjustments to adapt and adjust the service opening times. Young people may take it in turn to access. The VCS require resources for PPE and information about quotas permitted. It’s about connecting the public to local support\, helping people better self-care and using the appropriate language to do this effectively.

Place-based approaches are characterised by a shift away from centrally dictated policy\, towards holistic and collaborative solutions that are defined\, generated and delivered locally. \nAimed at trustees\, and anyone interested in place-based working\, this seminar will take a look at the charities operating across the UK\, and internationally\, that are increasingly considering more joined up working to achieve sustained social change.
