DESCRIPTION:Guest speaker: Jill Ellis\nConsultant Community Paediatrician\, Hackney Ark\nCome and join us as we learn more about what Down’s Syndrome is\, what causes Down’s Syndrome and what services there are in Hackney for families needing support. Also a chance to ask questions and meet other parents. \nWithin this group we discuss issues that affect parents raising children with disabilities. This groups is for parents who live in City and Hackney.  Parents meet and support each other in a relaxed and informal environment. Sometimes the groups are topic themed where we will discuss a specific theme. Other times we meet and try new activities like ‘learning to draw’ or ‘meditation and relaxation’ \nThis group is able to make recommendations to the Clinical Commissioning group for City and Hackney.
