DESCRIPTION:This practical training session aims to provide an understanding of Data Protection Principles\, Data Sharing Protocols\, and Collection and Managing good quality data using the MS Access service user database. We have developed an MS Access database that will help you improve your data entry procedures\, recording\, storing and reporting.\n\n\nAre you still using excel spread sheets and finding it hard to cope with data ?\n Are you struggling with monitoring and evaluation of your projects ?\n Do you feel that your systems are not-compliant with data protection regulations? \nIf all this applies to you\, then this training session is the right one for you. \nThis session will cover how it is applied in practice and the importance of having such skills for organisations holding personal information on their service users and volunteers.\nWho is this aimed at? \nAnyone who has a degree of/overall responsibility for administration\, monitoring/evaluation\, data protection\, and reporting on projects and activities. It is also useful for others who want to broaden their understanding of these areas. Organisations’ volunteers are also welcome to attend the training if they are interested in gaining admin and projects’ assistance skills. \nWhat will I take away? \n\nA service user database that would be covered in the training\, service user registration/consent forms.\nKnowledge of Data Protection principles and storing information securly\nKnowledge and skills to develop Data Protection policies\nNICE Data sharing protocols & how to apply it in practice.\nKnowledge of Data Protection procedures in storing information securely\nKnowledge and skills to develop data management and consistency across projects and activities.\nUnderstanding of the importance of consistency and accuracy in data entry.\nUnderstanding of the importance of data integrity and efficient data management.\nUnderstanding of the monitoring and evaluation basics and reporting mechanisms.\n\n\nRegister here . \n
