The Moving On Up Project

The Moving On Up Project, funded by the Trust for London, aims to improve outcomes for young black men in Hackney by providing estate-based employment support and empowering young men themselves to influence policy both at a local and pan-London level.

Key to this work has been the Inspirational Leaders, a group of young black men who deliver aspirational workshop in youth clubs and schools as well as acting as the Youth Advisory Board to a multi-agency Young Black Men Partnership Group that is chaired by Hackney Deputy Mayor Cllr Anntoinette Bramble.
